Laboratory Animal Facility

Handling laboratory animals with respect and care is an integral part of biomedical research at ETH.

ETH Phenomics Center integrates a state-of-the art laboratory animal facility unit enabling its users from different institutes to work with laboratory animals with a focus on mice in a large technology platform. The platform is comprising animal holding rooms, laboratories with cutting-edge analytical equipment as well as the technical infrastructure required to ensure high-standard housing conditions for the laboratory animals used in research.

The laboratory animal research unit is built to the latest international standards. Handling laboratory animals competently, showing respect and a sense of responsibility, is an integral part of biomedical research at ETH Zurich.
